The First 14 Days: A Brow Tattoo Aftercare Guide

The healed result depends as much on what you do at home as on the session itself. Here is the fortnight that matters.
Your brows will look bold, then flaky, then unexpectedly light, then settle. That whole arc is normal, and rushing it is the fastest way to lose strokes. Here is what each stage needs.
Days 1 to 7: keep them dry
Water is the enemy in the first week. Keep the brows dry, blot rather than wash the surrounding skin, and apply the aftercare balm sparingly, morning and night. A thick layer suffocates the strokes; a thin film is all they need.
Days 7 to 10: do not pick
Flaking starts and it will be tempting to help it along. Do not. Picking pulls pigment out with the scab and leaves gaps. Let every flake fall on its own.
Days 10 to 14: the ghost stage
Your brows may look as if they have almost vanished. They have not. Pigment sits under fresh skin and resurfaces over the next week or two as colour blooms back. Do not judge the result yet.
Then book your top-up
At six to eight weeks we settle colour and fill any gaps. It is part of the process, not a sign anything went wrong.
