Lip blushing is a semi-permanent tattoo that adds a soft wash of colour to the lips. It enhances your natural tone, evens out patchy colour and can subtly define the shape, without the hard line of traditional lip liner.
The result looks like your lips on a good day with a tinted balm on. We choose a shade that flatters your natural colouring and heals to a soft, believable finish.

Numbing
Lips are sensitive, so we numb thoroughly and top up during the session.
First colour pass
Pigment is worked in gently to build an even base of colour.
Build & refine
We deepen the colour where wanted and balance the shape before finishing.
Aftercare
The healed result depends as much on aftercare as on the appointment. Follow these and your results will settle beautifully.
- 01Keep lips clean and dry for the first few days
- 02Apply the supplied balm often to keep lips hydrated
- 03Do not pick the flaking as colour settles
- 04Avoid spicy and acidic food while healing
- 05Colour looks bold at first, then softens by around 40 percent
- 06Book a touch-up at 6 – 8 weeks to perfect the colour (from $100 – $450)

- Lips are sensitive, so we numb thoroughly and top up throughout. Most clients find it very manageable.
- Will the colour look unnatural?
- No. We choose a shade close to your natural tone for a soft, healed finish. Colour looks bolder for the first few days, then settles.
- How long does lip blushing last?
- Two to three years for most clients. A touch-up refreshes the colour as it fades.
